LE PAVILLON DE LA COMMUNICATION
A droplet in an ocean of images
The spectacular architecture of the Pavillon de la Communication -an immense drop of water- will soon make it so famous as the rock crystal of Kinemax, or as the Futuroscope triangle and the ball. Not to doubt it, we shall soon speak more than about The Drop. It is the water which is of use as guiding thread to the new entertainment of the first room of the Pavillon de la Communication. From the entrance, the visitor enjoys following in a funny ballet, a multitude of bondissants fountains -never seen in Europe- the famous jumping jets which made the celebrity of Disneyworld's Epcot park, will create a real fireworks of water and light. By an ingenious system, the visitor has the surprise to see itself himself taken in the middle of whirlwinds, torrents, waterfalls, rapids and fountains, the images of which appear on immense video screens. The communication is as the running water, it circulates everywhere and irrigates all the domains. The current man learnt to master the energy. The one as the other one are vital to him. These games of water drive the spectators up to entrance of the first cinema of the Pavillon de la Communication. Are presented to it, on 10 screens -making up so many facets of an immense kaleidoscope of images- all the forms of the communication, since the most primitive until the last technical innovations of the 90s (entertainment offered by the Museum of the Canadian Civilizations of Ottawa). Finally, they penetrate into the room of Showscan -cinema high definition- 60 images per second in 70 mn instead of 24 usual - for a new spectacle.
